I can’t properly explain why, which is why I didn’t review it. I think it made me like the comic book less, as if all the things that would bother me about the comic if the story was weaker were highlighted by the movie. I’m still looking forward to The Tales though.

I’ve actually had a few people tell me that it was the worst movie they’d ever seen. I’m sure they really aren’t fans nor have they read the book.
